Bharat Bandh: Private Schools to Remain Closed Tomorrow

In view of the Bharat Bandh called by trade unions on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, there is no official word on schools and colleges being closed though transport officials said many buses and autos may not ply in major cities.

Owing to the law and order situation, many private schools and colleges have declared holiday in the country though government schools will remain open.

Shops, markets will be closed and banks will also be closed in view of the banking unions joining the strike.

Otherwise, essential services such as hospitals, medical shops will remain open and the government offices will also be open tomorrow though attendance is slightly poor. As of now, the West Bengal government has issued a notice asking government employee to attend offices on Sept 2.

Even the IT companies and other private player have decided to remain open tomorrow and in all the bandh will be partial as pro-BJP trade union BMS has decided not to join the bandh at the last minute.
