Bahubali 2 opening day collections soared to ane high of Rs.120 crore, unprecedented, record-smashing and unpredictable. No one could estimate the opening day box office collections, not even Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst, as the box office collections received gasping numbers numbers being poured in from all 29 states, leaving aside overseas collections.
The figures of Box Office India, Hindi version alone will be in the range of Rs.35-40 crore nett, while it will be much more from other versions, especially for the Telugu version. Moreover, the movie was released for the first time in history of India, in over 6500 screens in India and over 9000 screens across the world.

As a result, the S.S. Rajamouli directed magnum opus becomes the first film in history to cross 100 cr nett on the very first day of its release.
Except Tamil Nadu, in all other states, the revenues exceeded the target or estimates as the film was delayed in Tamil Nadu owing to rift between producers and K Productions, who are distributors.
