Baahubali returns after the rains

BaahubaliLast year when the shooting of one of the most awaited Telugu films was disrupted because the rain gods weren’t happy, was the time when Tollywood’s most humble director took a break. Now back with his eccentric ideas and appreciable work, SS Rajamouli resumes the shoot of his big budget giant project, Baahubali.

Some of the important scenes of the film had to be reshot as the rains disturbed the shooting schedule last year. But after a year, the same team is back with excitement and more dedication. Being the most awaited and high budgeted film after super hit Magadheera, Baahubali seems to keep the audiences waiting.

Facebook users were happy to read this news as the award winning director posted a picture of his team having breakfast at the movie sets and said, “Back on sets of Baahubali and enjoying production breakfast after a long time. Shooting the same scene after a year as it was disrupted by rains last time. Re-erected the massive set. Hope the weather supports us this time. Happy Sunday guys.”

The movie boasts of an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamanna Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in significant roles. The movie is expected to hit the screens across the globe in 2015 and is the most expensive Telugu film till date.

The audience will be in for a festive treat as this project seems to be any movie buff’s dream watch. With a cast that spells magic and a director whose name defines perfection, any one would be waiting for this release. We wish the Baahubali team all the best.

Baahubali is one of the most-anticipated Telugu films and it is also touted to be the most expensive Telugu film. The shooting of the film started at Rock Gardens in Kurnool from 6 July 2013.
