Astronaut Virts Aboard Space Station ISS Captures Amazing India in Night Lights

International Space Station astronaut Terry W. Virts has focused on India this time to take some amzing pictures from above, in absolutely unprecedented clarity with clouds reflecting the moon’s light and giving the nation’s southern peninsula an explicit image of a lit garland.

From the International Space Station, NASA astronaut Terry Virts took the photograph of India in the night sky as seen from above and posted it to social media wesbite Twitter. As the space station ISS completes each trip around the globe in about 92 minutes, the crew experiences 16 sunrises and sunsets each day. However, these images of India are different with their glowing points in corners showing the coastline of AP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra.

NASA astronaut Terry W. Virts has also taken some exclusive and stunning images and videos of India from the above. Virts, who commanding the Expedition 43 since December 2014 December, ventured to take these images when the station was above India.

Some exclusive focal points in the image reflect the top view of cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore Hyderabad, clear southern coast line, moonlit sky, The river Ganga a massive intruding lightning storm.
