Apple Drastically Cuts iPhone 6s Prices in India, Albeit Unofficially

Not official but coming radar for its high prices in India, Apple has unofficially reduced the prices of its iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus in India by discounting heavily on its online sales via e-commerce portals such as Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Paytm. While Snapdeal is offering it at the lowest price, others are offering it around the same price with additional cost taken into account.

The initial launch price of iPhone 6s in India was Rs.62,000 and for iPhone 6s Plus, it was Rs.72,000. Apple was criticized for pricing its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in India at the highest prices compared to Singapore, France, Hong Kong, and other Asian markets. While the company argued that the price hike was due to the decline in rupee value, many buyers have remained distant from buying these latest smartphones despite their desire to do so.

Compared to its earlier models, Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a bigger screen and a highly improvised camera with OIS, which is not there in the smaller iPhone 6s version.
