Anxiety disorder is one of those feelings of wretched situations where you feel that you are in a “Catch 22” situation trying to come out of it desperately with nobody around to share your sordid state of mind.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) survey, anxiety disorders are the most common mental ailments experienced by 20 percent of adolescents all over the world and 70 percent of those who attempted suicide had experienced such anxiety prior to their decision.

However, anxiety disorders classified as — general anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, and post-traumatic stress disorder — are identified with general symptoms of shortness of breath, pounding heart, sweating, insomnia, and constantly being on edge.

While anxiety is common to everyone, there ar ways to avoid anxiety. First and foremost, avoiding conffee intake, cigarette smoking, preparing mentally to face the specified situation than worrying about it — are some of the suggestions made by the experts.

If you are suffering from anxiety, keep yourself in the company of at least those people who are positive in their thinking and outlook. Make friendship with those who can standby with you emotionally when you need them.
