Amitabh Bachchan is busy until July 2017 but once he is free, Telugu film director Krishna Vamsi and famous actor Nandamuri Balakrishna are keen to rope him in their next film.
Amitabh Bachchan is not new to Telugu film field as he made his Telugu debut with “Manam,” at the request of Akkineni Nagarjuna in a brief special appearance.
But the film titled "Rythu" by Vamsi will have a bigger slot for the Big B once he gives his nod to the film. Amitab Bachchan had also played a small role in a Kannada film "Amrithadhare" in 2005, Malayalam film "Kandahar" in 2010 and another Telugu film "Amritha Varsham" in 2006 — all special appearances.
Based on close sources to Vamsi, IANS reported: “Both Krishna Vamsi and Balakrishna had met Amitji on the sets of ‘Sarkar 3’ not very long ago. They pitched the story to him and even discussed the idea of collaborating as they’re very keen on having him on board, even if it means waiting for another six months."
However, pending final consent from Amitabh Bachchan, who is busy till June 2017 with Ram Gopal Verma’s Hindi film "Sarkar 3", is likely to think about the offer from Vamsi for a major role in "Rythu" that depicts the rural Andhra scenario with factions on the sideline. Balakrishna and Krishna Vamsi have reportedly postponed the film shooting hoping that Amitabh Bachchan would agree to join the production by July 2017.
