When it comes to women, Aamir Khan is gentle and sober to the extent that he doesn’t shy away from the fact that his wife Kiran Rao still has impact on his films and his career.
Known as Bollywood’s ‘Mr. Perfectionist’, Aamir Khan said he has undergone a lot of transformation over the past few years mainly becuase of his wife Kiran Rao, a director herself and a film personality.
“Transformation has happened. I feel it is because of Kiran-ji. Her influence on me is very bright. Her energy is bright. So, a change has come in me as well,” he said in an interview.
Aamir Khan married Kiran Rao in 2005 and they have a son from surrogacy named Abul Kalam Azad. The couple worked together on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Lagaan”.
She has been behind the cameras most of the time, designing his costume or perfecting his character in films but this time she is appearing in cameo role in “PK”. “Kiran is keen to do the role and will be shooting one of the sequences, and Raju (director Raj Kumar Hirani) wants to keep the sequence a secret,” reports said quoting a source.
Aamir Khan, who is usually silent, is going out of his way stopping all his TV show commitments to promote his upcoming film “PK”, which will hit the theatres on December 19.
She scripted and directed the film Dhobi Ghat, which was released in January 2011 under Aamir Khan Productions and she is currently working on her next film which will have roots in Kolkata, where she was brought up.
