The renewed race between Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’ and Prabhas-starrer ‘Bahubali 2’ is gripping the whole country but ironically Aamir Khan has not seen the film. In his candid style, the Hindi film icon admits that he has not seen the magnum opus of director SS Rajamouli yet, though he shares his appreciation for the film in making India proud.
“I have not seen Baahubali 2 yet but it’s a very successful film and has heard so many good things about it. I feel there shouldn’t be a comparison between the two. Both are good films in their own rights, both are Indian films which are making the country proud. I am proud of Baahubali as well and as an Indian fan I would really appreciate the fact that the film is doing so well all over the world,” said Aamir Khan, whose wife Kiran Rao is a Telugu-born though lived mostly in Kolkata and Mumbai, and Bahubali 2 is originally made in Telugu. Bahubali2’s Hindi dubbed version became Hindi film field’s Number 2 in collections after Dangal.
Dangal, which has collected Rs. 750 crore since its release in December went on to make a renewed ride on its highly successful box office collections in China surpassing the Hollywood releases. Currently, Dangal has collected Rs.809.95 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted the latest figures as below:
“#Dangal sets NEW BENCHMARKS in China… Week 3: Mon: $ 3.42 mn Tue: $ 3.12 mn
Wed: $ 2.76 mn Thu: $ 2.51 mn Total: $ 125.37 mn [₹ 809.95 cr].”
However, after watching “Bahubli: The Beginning”, he tweeted in 2015:”Amazing story, superb screenplay, heart warming dialogues! Great writing!”

So, it’s not that Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao will not see Bahubali 2 at all but waiting for the Chinese ride of their Dangal to be over to get time to relax and watch Bahubali 2 and then tweet again.
